Can I have too much filtration in a planted tank? I've just moved to an appartment that I might only stay in for 1 yr so I don't want to set up my 70G tank but I might set up an old 30Gal. The only filter I have is a fuval (sp?) cansiter built for 100 Gal tank. I intend to light very heavily (3 or more wpg) and maybe use CO2, b/c both can be used later in my larger tank when I set it up. Will this filtration strip my plants of food and nute's they need?
Thanks Sean

Current is good: it will ensure the nutrients and CO2 get circulated around the aquarium. Even flimsy plants adapt well to high turnover. If the Fluval canisters have a flow control could always just turn it down if necessary.
