I have a lovely pink tail trigger who for the first few months was swimming and eating fine. Just recently he's decided to become a recluse. Hiding behind the same rock. Any ideas????

All pretty much perfect. Salt 1.024. Ph 8. No ammonia or nitrite. Kh about 11

He's the biggest in there and was the boss. Every so often he comes out. Swims to the top then straight back. He looks healthy.

IMO from observing triggers, they are highly intelligent, for fish, and can as a result develop neurosis. It can be as simple as he has finally noticed his reflection and is now scared of the other trigger fish.

Ha ha so I've got a neurotic fish. That figures
