Aquarium Advice Newbie
I have a 65G I'm setting up. Have been heavily looking into different substrates. Low tech, low/medium light setup. I would like to have kuhlis and corys, and was considering eco-complete but was told that it was not a good substrate for the kuhlis and advised to go with sand.
I can get both pool filter sand and playground sand at my local hardware store, but saw the Tropica soil in my LFS. Does anyone have any experience with it? Is it fine enough for the kuhlis?
The tank has an Eheim pro 3 - after reading about sand I'm a little worried about stirring it up too much and damaging my filter.
