Tufa Rock

Anyone know if this can be used in a sw tank? I found some at a local landscape supply and it looks similar to base rock and is .32 a pound.

Yep, it's pretty common to mix Tufa rock and LR to bring down costs.

Cool, I will pick up a couple if large pieces to use as base for my other base rock that I got from hi rocks. It looks nice and porous and has lots of nooks and crannies for the critters to live in. At 32 cents a lb how could you go wrong?
