Uh oh, I see algae coming..

So I recently upgraded my lights on my 20H to a t5HO 2x 6700K FNI fixture. I noticed today my sand is turning brown. I have DIY co2, my drop checker is always blue though, I've never gotten it to turn green.. What would y'all do?

I have been told that brown is from diatoms due to extra silca or silicone. It should cycle out is another thing I have been told.

I've already went though diatoms once. But you know now that I think about it, I may have switched to PFS since then.. It was just curious that it came up 5 days after I upped under lighting.

Yea it is. Maybe a coincidence maybe not... Well hopefully it will cycle through. My 5.5 planted is going through it. Im thinkin about buying some nerites. That stuff covers the walls plants everything!
