uncapped co2?

I had my DIY co2 bottle uncapped for at least 2 days - is it worthless?

It would actually last longer in an aerobic environment I would think. Do you see any bubbles in it?

How old was it before it got uncapped?

Well. I wish i could remember for sure. But i think it was either
a) uncapped for a week + 2 days or
b) capped w/ a leak for a week + uncapped for 2 days.

No bubbles have come from it yet.

Well, making a new co2 solution is pretty easy and cheap, so it'd take 5 minutes to start a new one. Try shaking it, and you should hear some bubbles if its still working.

For those of you following this thread religiously, I found my prob.

I had the check valve backward. Mixed it up when i re-siliconed my airline.

idiot.

Still no tiny diffused bubbles. Hopefully after a few hours.


Also. My gold ram just died.
