Updates on 20g with Sandfall and 55g.

so a few days ago i got my old 20g tank back... as of 2day it is up and doing a fish in cycle. I am going to put a horseshoe crab shell i found by the water 2day in it (still need to boil it) as well as doing a stone scape, and will be making a sandfall for it... any ways thought id share pics of what it looks like now, and the horseshoe crab... any input on design is welcome.

yay! got my sand and the airstone i needed for my sandfall, and made a prototype... works great! will post pics in a bit...

Changed the gravel i had in it to the sand i had in the 40b since Phish is getting black diamond tuesday... i also made a small prototype of the sandfall. Still needs some tweaking, but the design itself is done... srry about the repeat pic, phone is freaking out.

So... working on my sandfall. Did the main body of it last night, and the cement is drying right now. Here is the work so far


The foam part. I filled in the back and let it dry some bafore laying the hose in, otherwise it sunk in.



After it dried i cut slits in the foam and put the rocks in



Then i coated it in cement. I sifted the rocks out first.



The "pool" design has changed since i took the pic, but you get the idea

tested the sandfall, and it works great! def gonna have to empty the tank to put it in tho... that thing floats like crazy! well, i find out monday if i get the 55 and other 20g... ill let you guys know what happens as it might end up going in the other 20g with Castiel (see angel at top...) and only Castiel... and what do you guys think? the other 20g, if i get it, will have black sand, should the fall have black also, red, or a mix of the 2? i cant decide so all input is welcome!

Exciting news!!! I have a berried shrimp!!! Just 1 of the 3 that were saddled, but she has great color so im excited!!!
