Upgrading tank, stocking questions

I hope to upgrade to a 29 gal from a 10 gallon with 6 platties and 1 molly. I was going to add panda corys and either a Koi angelfish or rams or honey gouramis. which would be best?

Any of those options would be ok IMO. I am partial to angels personally.

how would angels work? i've read only 1 would fit in a tank this size. i really like the koi angelfish at my LFS.

Angels can get nasty when they pair up and then some will terrorize tankmates, especially in smaller tanks. But, I think a pair would be worth trying if you want to.
Aquarists don't all agree about things like tanksize and angels inspire a bit controversial in this respect. IMO, a pair would probably be ok in that tank with those tankmates. Just keep an eye of everybody to make sure nobody gets picked on. If you just want 1 angel though, thats fine too. Its always safer to just get one anyways.
