I have a shrimp tank and i have had 5 out of my 6 shrimp die in the last week! :confused: i did a water change and found my niraites at 0.25 ppm! :( plz help
will post other water params on this thread once i test my water!
 
Are these RCS ?

What temp ?

Ammonia ?

Frequent small water changes are safer with Shrimp.

Pics of the tank ?

New tank ? New Shrimp ?

Test your tap water as well. Talk to your water company and see if they've flushed pipes or added anything.

How often were you changing water and how much ?

conditioned tap water and pH is 6.6

I switched to part tap/part distilled at one point to lower TDS.

I would not keep a Nerite in a 5g. It will quickly starve and may compete with the Shrimp for biofilm.

Ok my ph is how lowered to 6.4 and haven't tested nitrites lately and so yea thanks
