For a freshwater tank, about how long can you leave your tank without any attention?

Assuming the tank is healthy and everything is in good shape, it's not a big deal to leave it for a week or so.

Also depends on the fish. I would worry about fry more than adult fish. There was a guy on here who left his discus for 14 days without food... he had no issues.

A week is the longest i have ever gone on mine though i did have someone come & give the fish a single meal every other day. Tanks were a mess though by the end of the week...
