Vesicularia dubyana turning dark (brown-black)

My tank has 3 watts per gallon lighting. The old stems of the moss are turning dark, but the new stems are light green, there is many of those, and they are growing fast.
Now, I don't know if this is normal behaviour for the moss. I assumed it might be due to too bright light, since the mosses are a low light plants, so I moved the most of it in low light aquarium I have prepared, and left some of it in the main tank so I can monitor what will happen.
