Aquarium Advice Newbie
Pleasant greetings,
I recently purchased a Vlamingi Tang. He is a juvenile. I just noticed the other day that when he hides in a cave or a crevice in one of my rocks, his coloration is a lot darker than it normally is when he comes out. He is my first tang & I read in a previous thread about how tangs are susceptible to ich & someone was asking about discoloration. I would snap a picture, but about 5-10 seconds later, he returns back to the white/silver blue speckled beauty. Are these tangs able to change colours based on their surroundings? Anyone have a similiar experience?
Thanks
