Just still trying to get things to work out with my tank. Been listen to the people at petsmart for things. With the water changes to make the tap water safe for my tank can i just add the API stress coat+ or do i need a water conditioner as well. do I need to mix it in to the water as i add it and wait. or can i just dump it in once i am done adding water?

3ways of doing it.

Add it to the tank before or after you add the water. Baring in mind you have to dose the volume of the whole tank with this method.

Add it to a bucket then add your water and its ready to put into you tank. You only need to use enough to dechlorinate the bucket. I use this method.

Depending on the size of your tank, you may favor one or the other.

Good to know I thought it was always dose for tank o matter how u did it

you either dose the bucket volume, or if you use a siphon straight from the faucet to the tank, you dose the whole tank volume.

i would suggest getting prime when your stress coat runs out, you use 1/5 as much and ends up saving money
