I have a powerhead that i am using while i cycle my tank. i was adjusting the direction and the stand broke. it is still moving water but i have only had it for a week and plan on returning it. my question is, is it ok to take it out of the tank for a day to return to the store and get a new one. i will have no water flow in my tank for that time period. my skimmer is in the mail and will be here in a few days. i have 9lbs of live rock and plan to get more. 40 lbs of argonite sand. the tank is 29 gallons.
