water level

ive recently adjusted my water level and now my protein skimmer is sucking in way too much clean water.is this because of the water level or should i be looking at something else for the source.

I`m not seeing where it`s cleaner water then anywhere else. It might just be that your water is just not that dirty. Are you getting any dark green skimate.

I was until I did a water change yesterday .

You could've taken all the crap out of the water with the change. I would leave it on and it should start taking crap out when it's available.

Came home today water level dropped so I turned it back on now it's working fine .
