weird star fish like creatures on rocks

Took these off a rock

They are asterina stars. Harmless for a reef tank, but also prolific. They will breed and multiply.

Those the only two I seen took um out prolly more in there ...I thought they were the ones that eat coral so I disposed of them

Actually those appear to be the darker/redish ones (unless it's just bad lighting on the pic),those are the ones typically accused of coral munching.It's the white/pinkish/blueish ones that are common and considered reef safe.Also if there is 2 there is chances of more in there.
