Aquarium Advice FINatic
Hi, there,
I am a long-time but intermittent user of this site. On my latest visits, I've found that I can't follow links posted by site members.
For example, Aiken Drum currently has a post in Freshwater--General Discussion that includes a link to the Practical Fishkeeping website. When I click on it, I get a page that says only, "Page not found!" The URL of the page I am taken to, that tells me the page wasn't found, is an aquariumadvice.com URL with the URL for the referred site as part of the address:ccccs://ccc.aquariumadvice.com/forums/misc.php?postid=3548832&threadid=374290&external_page=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.practicalfishkeeping.co.uk%2Ffishkeeping-masterclass%2F
(I replaced the https and www parts of the address here with c's on purpose, so you can see the link rather than the page. I don't understand why my browser doesn't seem to understand the actual link and forward me to the site.
I do tend to tinker with security settings (e.g., using noscript and things like that), so I am wondering if I have disabled something my computer needs to read links like this. However, I have not come across this sort of problem on any other website. Do you have any idea of what I might be missing or doing wrong here?
Thanks in advance for any ideas you might have.
