What can I find around the house that would be safe to put in my fish tank

10 gallon tank what would be safe like could I boil some rocks and biol them and put them in and make a tunnel pleas give me ideas and things that wouldn't male it look trashy.

Rocks from outside are usually fine, careful boiling though, they can pop sometimes... You can also splash a bit of vinegar , if it fizzes it will mess with your ph..

Driftwood/wood - a bit further a field and you would need to research which types you can use in your area.

It depends also on what type of fish you plan on stocking in your 10g. We can offer better ideas based on species. Some types of fish need places to hide while for others anything constricted (such as a tunnel or cave) would pose a major hazard.

Well I have a 2 goldfish and a small plead algae eater and they are doing fine they are going to be upgraded to a 29 soon
