I know, I know. They're beneficial filter feeders, bla bla bla. I've posted the same info in the past. But since moving to my large tank, my small feather duster population has exploded. People are no longer asking what the white tubey things are on my rock. Instead they're asking what the deal is with the patches of brown on my big white rocks. Not really, but anything that can keep them a little in check that is reef friendly?

Peppermint shrimp. I had an actual plague of the little "so&so's" in my 27 and found the shrimp quite effective.

Cheers
Steve

I've kept copperbanded and long nosed butterflies in a reef without a problem. The shrimp are a better idea though. Good luck indy.
