What is coming out of my gravel?

Hey guys I just recently saw these things coming out of my gravel that look like roots under m drift wood... Any ideas?

Haha roots can travel further. It's planted right? Roots is my guess. I had that happen to me.

Yeah I do have a leaf plant like 3 inches away from there with similar root looking things, that just looks super weird .

Think that plant might start growing there?

I don't think so but it's normal.

I bet if you pulled the nearby plant you will find the roots have traveled to under the wood. Roots will grow towards the neutrients. Do you siphon under the wood?

Also, if the nurtients are being used up under the plant, then the roots will sometimes come up to the surface and get it's nutrients from the water column as well. Do you have root tabs for the other plants?

Actually, that's not very far at all, lol. That's just a short distance, lol

That's like 4 inches haha. It's such a small plant . it's just weird that they decided to pop out right there.
