what is happening!!!

i looked in my tank and my male cockatoo apisto was dead. i had no signs other than him being secluded and that i didnt see him eat today. i dont know what's happening and i have to figure this out b4 my female gets taken over by it. plz help me!!!!!!!!!!

With 2500 posts, you should know to specify water parameters, stocking, maintenance routine, etc.

oh sorry but everything is fine
ill check parameters again but yesterday they were
ammo 0
nitrites 0
nitrates 5
i do a 50 % water change every week.
it was stocked with
4-red/blue columbian teras
2-cockatoo apistos
