Hey, So I was looking into my tank this morning and Ive noticed these tiny white things. Ive tried using other peoples information but it doesnt seem to be the same thing. It kind of looks like a tube shape with these fine hairs/ Tentacles coming out the top. They stick on my ornaments and java moss. Recently my red cherry shrimp hatched babies so at first I thought that it was possibly the eggs and they were hatching (Not entirely sure on the whole birthing/ hatching procedure, but there are baby shrimp now) I really dont think its that though. Any suggestions? Thank you

Welcome to AA!
Unfortunately, it appears that there are hydra in the tank. Not usually a problem with fish but can be a problem with fish larvae and shrimp larvae.

You're right. I just google imaged hydra and thats exactly what it is. Thank you so much. I have guppies, trumpet snails and red cherry shrimp in my tank. What is the best and safest way to get rid of this?
