what is it and is it pregnant?

I bought this fish a few weeks ago for killing my snails but now I have forgotten what if was called. Also it is starting to get a bump in the middle of the underside. Sorry the picture isn't the best but I will try and take a better one. Is it pregnant or just getting fat?? Thanks

Its a YoYo Loach. I don't think they get pregnant. But I could be wrong. Also If you have the room they should be in groups of 3 or more. Im in the same boat...I only have one right now. Im waiting for the LFS to get more in stock.

Think it's just getting fat. After a good feast they look like they have little pop bellies. Try not feeding for a day and See if it goes away?

I have 4 of them in my tank. They always look like that after a good meal, if it dont go down soon, miss a days feed and then feed on peeled peas the next day.

I think it is nearly impossible to breed them in a tank, may be wrong tho?
