what is this black sack?

wonder if you can help me figure out what this black sack is all about?

Bubble Algae. Not good, remove carefully and try not to pop it.

Yup, definately bubble algae. Easiest way I found to remove it was to take tweezers and gently twist it off of the rock it was attached to. It also looks like you have a bit of hair algae in there. Both are a sign of excess nutrients in the water, most likely from overfeeding or use of frozen foods.

thanks wasnt too sure whats up ..its a small rock so I will take it our and remove it

YA I am having some trouble with the hair algea for sure ...only feed 2 times a week maybe ...very little ...maybe need to go to a bigger tank as much as I would love too just dont have alot of room?

Can you post your water parameters? If the nitrates are high, that may be a source as well as phosphates.
