What is this bug

Hi I am a complete newbie, just found this horrid thing on the glass. What is it, and what do I need to be doing please? Any help appreciated

It was below. It moved almost snail like but didn't have a shell like one and sat fairly flat against the glass.

Looks like a ramshorn snail to me.

Me too.....but the ops description sounds more like planaria possibly.

Or maybe a limpet?
You could be right regarding planaria I have those in my shrimp tank sadly lol

Things like limpets, planaria, nematodes and other roundworms all can be mistaken for one another. Typically each is caused by poor water quality. uneaten food and not enough water changes.

Looks exactly like a baby mini ramshorn to me. I breed them for my assassin snails.
