to AA! Not to many people come over to the welcome area of the site. So I'd recommend posting this in the saltwater section. But just being curious what is it?

That's a macro algae called spindle weed.

That's a macro algae called spindle weed.

Correct. Not neccesarily bad but can spread slowly. Its is a calcium based algae and actually requires calcium to grow. If you dont want it simply snap it off at the base. Very easy to control and harvest in my experience.
