Sorry for the bad picture. This looks like strings of algae. Not sure if good or bad.

Not good. Is your tank new? How often do you feed? how long do you leave your lights on?

I feed once every other day and I leave lights on for 10 to 11 hours a day.

Heres another picture. The algae seemed to close up a little bit.

Keep the lights to 7-8 hrs. Also check ur nitrates and phosphates.

Ok I'll try that, but I normally keep both lights on for about 6 hours and then I turn the bright light off and keep the dark light on for another 5 hours.

I was going to try that but I have a wrasse that eats the crabs.

Would GHA close when lights are off? This algae seems to open up when lights are on and close when lights are off.
