Cleaning my filter out I found this little guy in it. Any idea what it is and how to make sure there r no more and what to do if so?

R they safe to my tank? And how would I get rid of them?

They are safe for your tank but you do not want to touch them. They are a good part of a cuc but high populations of them are signs of over feeding. For every one you see bet there's 10 more in there and you can't really get rid of them without taking away there food source
