What is this?

So I noticed this spot on my betta and I decided to do a big water change and raise the temperature to rule out a bacteria and ich. I added aquarium salt to the tank too. He hasn't been itching or acting weird or lost his appetite but the spot is still there. I'm not sure if it's fin rot but none of his fins are torn or lost.

At first glance, looks like an injury, but it might be Lymphocystis, a non lethal viral growth.
