What is this????

Hey Everyone.

This grew off of a piece of live rock in my tank and I have no idea what it is. I have had it now for about 4Mo and it has doubled in size.
Can anyone help me out?

Looks like some type of anemone. Not sure on species though. I've pm'd one of the other advisors who may be able to help you more.

Does it have a skelaton? Looks alot like a long tentacle plate coral. Believe it or not, this is actually how they start out...

I was thinking torch right when I saw it too. Also I was looking at the tenacle below the top right one and thought I saw some of the tips branching a bit from one of the arms which made me think frogspawn. But I think steve, like always, is right.
