what is wrong with my pleco

I bought him like 3 days ago at petco and I didn't notice this on him when I bought it but he looks very sick and I don't what's wrong with him or how to fix it he has this all over his body if and one can help please do as for my tank it is already established and cycles he lives in a 50 g with sevral other community fish such as tetras and angelfish

If you don't have a flash, shine a flashlight on him for the pic. Its way too dark.

Cant see pic too well. Sounds like ich. Try the ich treatment but also make sure to give it algae wafers. It needs to eat. The treatment is going to wipe out your bio filter. Id really take the fish back while you can. Let your tank cultivate some really thick beneficial bacteria then try again with the pleco.

Don't treat until you know exactly what your dealing with. Ich is honestly not that bad if that's what it is and you don't even need meds for ich.
