I have a platy in a community tank and he used to be active now he just floats at the surface. he will swim away from my hand still and he has no physical signs of illness. he isn't very big compared to other platys I've seen so I don't think he's old. I don't know if he's eating or not, I think he is but not sure. tried to give him peas because that seems to be a miracle cure for everything but he got scared of my hand and would not take it from me. I dropped it in the water but he was scared of that too. I have tested my water and my parameters seem pretty good.
temp: 83 (at the end stages of killing off ich, fish don't have it anymore but it may be in the gravel)

any ideas why he is acting like this?
