What kind of crab is this?

I found this crab in my tank. Wondering what type it is and if it's reef safe? We've had some corals mysteriously dying off lately (we have good water conditions) and wondering if this guy could be the issue. We transferred him to a different tank for now until we find out more about him.

I'm not familiar with saltwater or reefs so I'm following along to find out how a crab could get there without you putting him there yourself! :) fascinating
 
No, i don't think it's a Pom Pom. Doesn't have the characteristic "Pom Pom" arms. It has large white claws. I never bought this crab, it must of been a hitchhiker in some live rock I got at one point.
 
It's also about 1inch big... If that helps in identifying ?

Thanks for the link joy13! I dont think it's a porcelain, I didn't find any pictures that looked similar. But I did find a picture in the Xanthid species that is really close! I think it is probably in that species ;) thx for the help!
