After last nights battle ( on other threads )
He is looking good , seams healthy except for a few marks / battle scars
Question is .
Is he a one spot Foxface ?
His spot doesn't seam to be as defined as pictures on liveaquaria.com

Looks like a one spot foxface to me.

Fish's colors can vary, just like every person is different, fish can be different too!

I thought it was a one spot as well but the black streak made me think different .

Really glad he improved! It could have gone either way but you got a tough fish! lol
He is a pretty tough fish .
He is as hardy as it says .
I have a book I read all the time .
It's a lot like liveaquaria.com but some things are different .
But is have every fish ,
Temperament , reef compatibility that's numbered from 1-5
5 is green and a very good reef compatible fish and 1 being leave it in the ocean .
I think what saved him is I was right there to rescue him from the anemone .
It swam by and the clown flapped its tail and 1) tentacle caught the Foxface and started pulling it in .
It was half way wrapped in the anemone when I massaged the anemone to let the fish go .
Never thought if I would get stung by either .
After the lights were out I released him from the QT and let him go find a hiding spot .
It's either live or die .
And for the price ( free ) I wasn't losing anything either way .
He doesn't go anywhere close to the anemone now .
He will swim towards it then go strait up and around .
Lol it's kinda funny watching .
The best lesson is self taught .

The rock the anemone is in I have moved it as I filled the tank with the remainder 40lbs of rocks .
And he must like that rock and the location I have chosen for it.
I thought it was going to wander the night I changed it .

I'm going to start a thread with subject : anemone sting .
I'm very curious how they work , how powerful they are for different species .
But even more curious what it would have done once it killed this fish that's too big for it to eat .
