2 Hitch hikers from live rock, just layed dozens of eggs. What kind of snail are they?

Looks like a whelk. Hard to say if it's going to cause any harm. They are generally predators.

Thanks for the response. I did some research on whelks and its a Kelletia kelletii, or kellets whelk.
