What kind of star fish is this?

See attached. Bought from lfs but he wasnt sure of name

looks like a linkia star of sorts

I don't think it's a Linkia. Linkia usually have long slender limbs and and don't have the uniform pattern on them. I'm thinking it may be some type of Fromia but it's kind of hard to tell from the pic.

Agreed - fromia is likely from the body shape and the limbs. I could not say what kind tho, more colour may come in time.
