Staring over in the hobby after a few years away.
I have a 90 gallon but no lid or light.
It will be a freshwater fish only but I don't want to grow algae if I can help it.
Do I go fluorescent, LED??
And what bulbs if not LED?

Tank is 24" deep.
Thanks, Elwood

If its the same dimensions as my 90, 48 x 18 x 24, than I think the perfect freshwater lights are three of the ecoxotic panorama pro 8000k modules. They spread light amazingly and are very bright. They also look great for freshwater. At 18 watts each, they're pretty efficient as well. I am really impressed with them.
