What Temp for African Clawed Frog?

My African Clawed Frog had been housed with my betta for a while until I got him his own tank. He's now in his own tank, but the betta tank was kept at 78F. Now, I moved him to the new tank, which was reaching up to 80F. So, I began cooling it with a fan, which has brought it down to around 70-73F depending on the time of day. Will he be OK with such a sudden water change in his environment? Looking at info, they are cooler water frogs, so I'm hoping it will be.

Yup, should be fine. It's most important that you keep it cool. Unlike african dwarf frogs, clawed frogs will not do well in warmer waters.
