Looks like a Convict Cichlid and a really nice one at that. The lighter stripes are really white which is awesome. Most convicts don't stripes like that.

You should do some research on this fish. They are very aggressive and grow to 16".

If you have a large tank that you are able to dedicate to a single fish, I've read that they make great wet pets. However, I've also read that they are mean and can't be kept with other fish.

I will look into him more, I would not want something to die or kill everything in thank. Oddly at the store he wasn't being that aggressive. However there was also a Flowerhorn there and that thing was mean as friggles.

Everything that I have read states that he will kill everything in the tank unless you have a huge (250 gallon or larger) tank.
