I have a70 gallon full of malawi cichlids, but I want to upgrade to atleast a 125. I was wondering if I could put a single red terror in the 70?

Maybe for a little while as a growout. Not a full grown festae though, that would require a 5 - 6 foot tank.

Plus how boring having a single female festae who likely won't show any colors since there is no male to attract.

The males simply grow to large, and can't be housed in anything smaller than six feet.

Very valid points. Have any suggestions what to put in there than? I want something bigger, and not malawi. I'm not familiar at all with CA or SA cichlids. But I think I'd like either of the two in there..
