Whats Wrong With My Male Guppy?

I was given a male guppy, right now he is in a hospital tank I can't seem to find any thing related to the decfect or illness that he is showing maybe someone has an idea of what is wrong with him and if he would be able to lead a normal life or if he should be culled from my guppies so as not to infect any of them please somone help

Bent spine? As long as he can swim and eat fine, he would be okay. I would NOT breed him though.
 
No I am talking about the huge growth right above his tail fin it looks like little white balls growing under his scales almost tumorish
 
it's on both sides the last picture shows best what I am refering to I already know he has a curved spine I am trying to find out if anyone knows what this is and if it would be safe to move him into the tank with the other male guppies or if he should be put down if maybe it's treatable that sort of thing I have been doing esaerch and cant find anything like what he has on him so I was hoping someone on here that has expereance with guppies would be able to tell me since I have never before seen this with any guppie that I have bought or breed until now
