I have a striped raphael catfish which I've had for about 3 years. It was fully grown (a lot thinner) when I bought it so I'm not sure how old it is.
For a few months it just finds a spot in the tank and won't move for days. Sometimes it will be near the top of the tank and won't come down until I put some food in.
