Which fish?

Right now I have some neons/otos in a 29 gallon tank, and I'm planning on adding some more fish in a little bit. I'm between tiger barbs, cherry barbs, and hatchetfish for the top dwellers, and either cories or loaches for the bottom.

I also wanted to know how neons would fare with tiger barbs.

I dont think tiger barbs would be a good combo. I do have some marble hatchets in my 29 that I have with neons and they are fine. I like the hatchets because the stay towards the top of the tank.

I would go with hatchets for top, and khuli loaches for bottom . By the way I once had a barb that would eat feeder guppies on a regular basis, no lie. But then again he was raised with piranha =p. I think he thought he was a piranha and the piranha thought he was one of them. They never bothered him and he lived a very long life with them before he died of natural causes, and the piranha never once nibbled on him.

Hatchets are friendly. Tigers are bullys especially to little fish. Don't know much about the other 2.

I decided just to fill it with neons, and I think it was the right choice
