white puss like spot on goldfish face

Over the past month a fairly large puss like spot has been appearing on Fancy goldfish face, when I first noticed it was very worried then it disappeared a few hours later and I assumed it was sand. it looks like it could be squeezed out and I think it has been popped as it seems to appear then disappear repeatedly. Another one has begun to appear above the eye also. Not sure what is causing this, had the fish for over two years now, otherwise healthy, water conditions fine and all tankmates are fine. Over the past few days the goldfish has become inactive sitting on the bottom of the tank, but it is still eating. Any advice would be great if anyone’s dealt with similar.

I have ZERO experience with goldfish...
But if I saw this on MY fish, I would instantly think 'ich' or ick.....
Would recommend Kordons rid ich plus.
ONLY IF you have no inverts!
It IS NOT snail/shrimp safe.
But I have had great results with different fungal infections with this product...
And it is what my LFS uses and recommended to me!
