I never really noticed this before because I have sand all over my rocks, but there's a few groups of these white spots.

Any idea what these are? I've had an ich outbreak so could they be ich cysts?

that's coralline algae?

i did just receive some scrapings of it from the LFS that i put in there

I have hundreds if not more of those spots, in my 125g they start as white, change to a light green and then go over to purple. :)

cool.
i was thinking they were snail eggs and would explain why my snails look more abundant than usual lol

coralline is welcome too!

LOL, I;ve never paid it any attention but I'd guess like a week or two you should see them start to change color. :)

Well, I think these spots are turning green. I'm not sure. I just want my rocks purple!

Does this look like green coraline or just regular green stuff?

its turned a really bright green
is it coralline? if so, will it turn purple?

These things are just turning neon green. There's no purple. :( How can I get purple!?

I had the LFS scrape off some coralline out of their tank to give to me but apparently this didn't work. It's been a few months.

Is there a commercial product I can buy to get the purple stuff too? I like the bright green, but I'm jealous of people's purple in their tanks.
