White stuff on spider wood?

What is this stuff and how can I get rid of it?

Its nothing bad. It will go away after a bit. You can scrub it off if you want. This happens with just about every new piece of driftwood.

Can I get a fish to eat it?

I know I've seen some people say certain snails or fish will eat it but I can't remember which. I would just clean off what you can and wait it out. Its not going to be around forever. A couple of weeks and it should be gone.

Shrimp LOVE it but if you're running a community tank the only ones that might survive are Amanos
