I've been so busy I don't even know which way is up making breeding tanks I haven't had time to do the research. I think my water company may have added buffers too harden the water. I have a sponge filter to install in one of my 40b and I was wondering if putting peat moss in the filter would work at softening the water. I used to be able to keep my ph at 6.3ish using just catapa leaves and drift wood, now it's been testing at 7.2 and my rams are miserable.

Thanks to anyone who responds!!

I promise I'll pay for use and post pics as soon as I get this mess under control:angel:
