If I get a Peppermint Shrimp for take care of my aptasia problem, would it bother my polyps? Are Peppermint shrimp known to bother soft corals?

I agree.. Never had a peppermint shrimp bother any of my polyps or Corals.. Be careful though as alot of small LFS Sell the Almost Identical CAMEL shrimp as Peppermint Shrimps and They will Bother Them..

Peppermint Shrimp will eat Yellow Polyps. These are actually colonial Anemone just like Aiptasia and that's why they are on the menu.

All other Polyps & mushrooms are safe as long as they stay healthy.

My peppermint shrimp leaves me orange star polyps alone even the weeker one it stays away from. I guest he's to busy playing with my yellow tang. 0X

My pepermints dont bother my large colony of yellow polyps but that might be becase the colony is rather well developed and the shrimp are relitivly small in compairson.
