will it cycle again?

upgrading to a 75 gal from a 55.i have cc and want to replace it with live sand.my plan was to siphon the water into some 20gal buckets that i use for water changes,put my lr,fish,corals and critters in the buckets.set up the new tank add the live sand,put enough of the old water back in so that i can put everything else in the new tank,add the rest of the water and top off with some ro water that i will have mixed a few days earlier.i will be using the same canister filter from the 55 until i build a sump.does this sound right.will it cycle again?

|You may notice an ammonia spike. I would bag most of your cc and place it in the new tank. This will help transfer good bacteria.
