I have a 24-36inch Double Bright fixture on the way that I plan to use on a 40 gallon breeder, however I feel that it will not put off enough light now. will my tank be dark with this light?
Will this be enough light?

Light for plants or fish? Fish don't need much light at all, just enough so that you can see them. If it's for plants, listing the wattage and bulb type would help, I'm not familiar wit the model.

not for plants just for fish, I decided it wasnt quite what I wanted so ill be returning it.
